Shir Ariel, a 11th grade student, in the software engineering program at Israel Sci Tech Kiryat Motzkin wins spot on Israel’s National Computer Science Olympiad Team. The International Olympiad in Informatics is an international algorithm and programming competition for teenagers, with participants from 87 countries. Its goal is to bring together the best young talent from around the world for the highest level of scientific activity and cultural experience and to develop problem-solving ability and finding solutions, creativity, and thinking that breaks out “out of the box” as well as the ability to produce effective solutions to complex problems.
